GIA Graded Pearls
Green Diva cultured freshwater pearls are graded by GIA, the Gemological Institute of America. Third-party evaluations give you a verifiable account of the true quality of the pearls. We do not use A-AAAA gradings because there is no standard for this system and the jeweler self-grades their own pearls, which is a conflict of interest.
GIA is very, very strict when it comes to grading pearls and grades conservatively with no inflation of quality. For example: Pearls normally sold as "near flawless" are "moderately blemished" under the GIA system.
